Think of it this way: the Cisco switch decides where data goes. The Molex cabling carries it there. A rack of expensive switches is useless if the physical layer can't keep up. According to TIA-568.2-D, a properly terminated Cat6a channel supports 10GBASE-T up to 100 meters. Cheap cabling or sloppy terminations and you won't get anywhere near that number.
So when the search really is "networks vs. cisco," the honest answer isn't a winner — it's a division of labor. What's the fastest way to get a Molex connector when you're out of time?
Fastest isn't same-day shipping. Fastest is ordering the right thing the first time. Four mistakes I see again and again:
Ordering the housing but not the terminals. The plastic is worthless without the metal contacts.
